Welcome to the website for the Bourn Quarter - the proposed redevelopment of the former Gestamp Tallent site on Bourn Airfield. 

Aitchison Developments and Savills IM have now submitted a planning application for the Bourn Quarter proposals to South Cambridgeshire District Council. You can find out how to comment on the proposals by going to the Comment page here.

This proposed hybrid planning application is for full planning permission for Phase 1 and outline planning permission with all matters reserved except access for Phase 2 of the redevelopment of the former Gestamp factory site at Bourn Airfield for up to 26,757sqm/288,000sqft of commercial floorspace purposes (use class B1c light industry, B1b research and development and B8 warehouse and distribution with supplementary use classes A3 restaurant and café, D1 day nursery/creche, D2 gym), associated car parking and service yards, external earthworks, attenuation basins and landscaping.

The Bourn Quarter land is owned by corporate pension fund clients of Savills Investment Management. It typically partners with development managers such as Aitchison Developments to procure and implement development projects on its clients' behalf.

Aitchison Developments provide development management services for property funds, companies and landowners. The development team has over 70 years’ of experience in the commercial property market.
