Planning permission was granted in December 2013 for a 17,723sqm employment development, though the site has been vacant since then.
Savills Investment Management purchased the site in 2018 and started discussions with the council on an improved scheme.
An outline planning application was submitted in March 2019 but following consultation with Bourn Parish Council and Caldecote Parish Council, it was decided to make a number of significant changes:
1. Include additional uses like a café, creche and gym
2. Provide more smaller units
3. Change the layout to provide a central ‘green street’
Savills Investment Management therefore decided to withdraw the previous application and submit a new planning application incorporating these improvements.proposals will deliver a number of significant benefits.
