SITE LOCATION
The site is 9.4 ha of previously developed brownfield land on Bourn Airfield, and is located between Cambourne to the west, and Highfields and Highfields Caldecote to the east.
The A428 runs to the north of the site, providing the Bourn Quarter with direct access to the strategic road network.
The proposed Bourn New Village, allocated in the adopted South Cambridgeshire Local Plan, surrounds the site.
COMMENT ON THE APPLICATION
The planning application for the Bourn Quarter has now been submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council. The application reference number is 20/02568/FUL.
